Ukiah Conference, April 23

Mendocino cluster held their festival in Ukiah on April 23. The theme was how to better the world through pure and goodly deeds and also some parts of the letter from the House of Justice dated December 30th.

Many many people from the wider community participated. Many families. There were over 70-75 people and out of that number there were 14 Baha'is.

It went astonishingly well. So many people came, and we are still in shock. Out of all the people who came 8 Native American Indians also came to join in. This is very significant as they do not come out to such functions and they brought one of their elders with them. It was truly wonderful and they helped clean up and do other various things that needed to be done and brought gifts.

The families want to have such meetings once every 2-3 months. Some of the family members dressed up for the event but everyone was happy just to be together and a strong feeling of trust was there.
