San Diego Conference - September 2025

More than 150 local community members gathered in San Diego last month to sing, study, create art and reflect on the spiritual destiny of America.

The conference, organized by the local Baha’i community, was part of a series of events called by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of the United States.

Small groups, facilitated by volunteers, were a key part of organizing the study and discussion portions at the conference.

At the conference, one of the main materials of study was a letter dated September 30, 2024, which focuses heavily on the spiritual destiny of America.

The letter quotes ‘Abdu’l-Baha as follows: ““The continent of America … is in the eyes of the one true God the land wherein the splendors of His light shall be revealed, where the mysteries of His Faith shall be unveiled, where the righteous will abide and the free assemble.”

Music and devotions also played a key part in the conference.
